Rescuing and Releasing

Rescuing a raptor takes endurance, skill, and great care.  Most times the birds are in a very fragile state.  A successful rescue is the first step toward recovery for the raptor.  After recovery, the release of a raptor back into the wild is the end goal of all our efforts!  This takes considerable resources, please consider supporting a rescue or release.  When we release a raptor we make every effort to return it to the area where it was rescued, we also do our best to include the people that contacted us to save the raptor - the bird would not have survived if they didn't have such compassion!
